The Woodlands Cricket Club was the first team to be chosen to participate in the Focus Club Championship Night Series. The club was founded in 2005 by Gareth Roocroft and this cricket team is made up mainly of family members and close friends. They are a very exciting team to watch and are favourites to win this night cricket competition. There are 5 players to watch out for and 4 of these members are from the Roocroft family; Sean, Anthony, Patrick and Gareth. And their first choice wicket keeper, Thami Geza, is a very talented batsman and a safe glove man behind the stumps. The Focus Club Championship is played on the Woodlands C.C.'s home ground; Danson Lee Park.
